All’s Well That Ends Well or You Can’t Come Back If You Don’t Leave

Well I certainly can’t complain about my final week in paradise…(except, maybe, for the last 2 days of cold, rainy weather 🤪).

I took Pete and Solveig to the Lyle Lovett concert in El Cajon, did my final pottery class (horsehair raku), did my last yoga classes (41 this trip…48% of my days here!) with Nikki and Russ (who thinks my name is John 😂), enjoyed my Sunset Cliffs walks, Peets coffees, Rubios, In and Out Burger and Chick-Fil-A.  Pete and Solveig had me for supper last night to bookend a wonderful winter escape.

Thanks to Linda and Terry and Ward and Annie, who were kind enough to take a lot of my stuff home for me, I had (some) room to spare in my luggage for this first post-pandemic flight home today.  (I still left 3 Rubber made containers of things at Pete’s, but I will get that next trip down!) 😳🙄🤪

So as I sit here, 2.5 hours early at the gate for the flight home, I am grateful, grateful, grateful.

Now, to focus on a new car, tutoring, getting a phone 🥴🙄, learning new Solstice music, art residencies and a possible September return.   That should keep me busy.
