New Year, New You: Return To Better Days

I can’t even express how happy I am to be back in San Diego for the winter.   It feels so good to be back in my “happy place”.   This last year has been rough.  Here’s to turning the page to better days.  It certainly feels like I’m on my way.  πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ€žπŸ»

Bob And Lees X-Country Middle Aged Road Trip

Yesterday, Lee flew home, on her birthday, after accompanying me on my drive to San Diego.   What a fun time we had.  I am ever grateful for her company and support along the way.  She is good people!

If, after 10 days, the worst things you can say about your travel companion is that she wouldn’t update and read out the score to you during the card games…and then won every game played πŸ€”, that she put the grapes in the fridge to keep them cold (instead of keeping them on the counter at room temperature…like a normal person) 🀨, has a freakishly high internal body temperature 🫠 and made some questionable lighting choices when taking pictures 🀭…then you know you chose a good ‘er to accompany you on your road trip ❤️.

Girrlllll…..thanks for making “Lee and Bob’s Middle Aged Road Trip” a most excellent time.

I don’t know how I’d have survived the extra day in Utah 🌨❄️, discovered the wonders of Cracker Barrel 😲, been made aware of my crazy nose hairs 🫣, enjoyed the barndominium in Idaho πŸ•πŸ·, the “Animal Style” burger and extra crispy French fries of In and Out Burger in Las Vegas πŸ”πŸŸπŸ₯€, your morning music selections and nightly crazy dream recaps 🎢🀀, learned of your love of the biopic 🍿 or how to do a jigsaw puzzle correctly without you 🧩.    You, my friend, are a keeper!

I’m so glad we’ve been friend for 41 years πŸ˜ƒ❤️!  Looking forward to our next adventure together!  Happy birthday, my friend πŸŽ‚ .  XOXO
