Reflections On A Rainy Saturday In February

Today I am packing up to move back to Pete’s pool house after 4 weeks at the ocean condo.   It sure doesn’t suck to be me.  I’m at 36 yoga classes since I got here and 7 pottery classes and this month:  5 audiobooks, 5 watercolor classes, a glass class at Celeste’s, 1 watercolor art show in Fallbrook, a couple visits with Linda and Terry and countless walks along Sunset Cliffs, “highway poppies”,  kumquats, beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

This has been a great month.  I do love it here.

Fused glass weekend workshop

Wow!  I got in touch with Patty Gray again and she did a 3 day workshop (4+ for me!) with 3 other people and it was awesome.  She knows so much!  I made 10 pieces and got to do some glass combing and learn how to use a sand blaster, a lap wheel (to do cold working) and No Dayz powder wafers.

The weekend before I made a clock at Fallbrook Art Schhol with Susan Hirsch, so I am feeling pretty fortunate to have learned from these awesome instructors.

I think I have Christmas gifts for a couple years now!  ðŸ¤£ðŸ¤ªðŸ˜€

Where to begin?

Omg, this place just “does it” for me.  I feel so complete here.  The weather, the people, the vibe.  I just love it.

It’s been just over a month and I feel so content, complete.  Dare I say, happy.   Regular walks at Sunset Cliffs, 26 yoga classes, pottery in Fallbrook at Celeste’s, a 4 day (for me) fused glass workshop with Patty Gray, painting with the San Diego Watercolor Society, a watercolor lesson with Igor Koustenko and Shuang Li, a red tide at Torrey Pines, “Avatar 2” in 4D with Susie and Cheryl, a lovely stay at the pool house and a move over to the condo on the ocean, lunch with Linda and Terry Stanviloff at Balboa Park.

Who’s a lucky bastard?  Well, it rhymes with Cob Bowan, that’s who?!
