March AiR Art Work

Watercolor, acrylic, pottery, glass, frame building and canvas stretching, First Friday artist visits, gallery tours and opening.  Oh my!  What more could you ask for!

The Art Centre was an amazing find and incredible facility to spend the month.  Loved it!

Last day in Vernon.  Went for physio, packed up and cleaned the studio, went to Ratio and the Vernon Art Gallery and got some treats for Lee and Lisa.   Will go to Project Hail Mary and then pack my clothes and be off in the morning after picking up my last pottery pieces at the Art Centre.   What a wonderful, healthy month it has been.   I have put in claims for the private suite for next winter! 👍🏼

Vernon Reflections

What an incredible 3 weeks it’s been.   I’ve met some really interesting people, done, seen and learned a lot.  I love that it has snowed and melted by noon! 👍🏼

Adventures In Art #38-Frame Building And Canvas Stretching

So, Heidi Thompson invited me to make frames with her!  So today I did!  We built them from scratch and then stretched canvas on them.  She even fed me lunch!  Then see set me up with some gessoed, textured canvass ready to experiment with in my own in her style!  Lucky me!
