This morning I slowly) packed up my things, bid adieu to Lionel, the mushroom picture taker, Alex, the Helen Mirren/Mrs Doubtfire mashup, and Marjon, the oil-painting-coffee-loving Hollander, and left the residency filled with thanks, inspiration and gratitude. What an AMAZING experience. I wish I could have stayed longer. Next time a month, for sure!
And so, I drove myself to Victoria to see Donovan Woods in concert via Sombria Beach! What an amazing place. Surfers, high tide, rocks, driftwood and a waterfall! Just beautiful!
